Getting the latest Downloads
On this page you can find the links to the latest builds produced by the Eclipse Web Tools Platform Project. All downloads are provided under the terms and conditions of the Eclipse.org Software User Agreement unless otherwise specified.

If this is your first time visiting eclipse.org, you need to make sure that you install a Eclipse Platform SDK before you install the Web Tools Platform. Please note that every Web Tools Platform build requires a specific "Stable" or "Release" version of the Eclipse Platform and other prerequisite projects as mentioned on its download page. Eclipse Platform SDK downloads can be found on Eclipse Platform download page. This is the official WTP 0.7 Release build. The focusses since M5 have been increasing stability, polishing the UI, and applying critical bug fixes. There were many bugs fixed for this release but don't let that stop you from reporting more -- if it isn't in Bugzilla it's not a bug!

And remember to please verify the fixes for the bugs you've reported.

This milestone focussed on code cleanup and stability, especially for the Server Tools and Flexible Projects. Please see our the New and Noteworthy for any new features that were still added ;-)

This milestone offers an significant enhancement in functionality to WTP, mainly in the following areas:

• J2EE and Validation
• Structured Source Editing
• Server Tools
• XML, XSD, and WSDL
• Web Services Tools

There were 187 bugs fixed for this milestone. But, there are still some known bugs marked 'major' to be aware of. And, we hope you report many more -- show interest by heavy use!

This was a significant milestone accomplishing all our High Priority items:

• Project Layouts for Web/J2EE Modules (Simple Web/J2EE project layouts)
• XML Editing and Validation
• Database Table content browsing

as well as our Medium Priority items:

• JSP Editing and debugging
• XML creation wizards (creates skeleton XML given DTD or XML Schema)
• Graphical XML Schema editor
• XML catalog support
• Validation for XML Schema and DTD
• XML example project to jump start users
• Simple EJB Wizards

And even one Low Priority item:

• Snippets View (but many changes still planned)
